Law of Attraction

Did you know that most people do not have a master plan? Do you have one?

If not, it might be a good idea to a) learn what a master plan is, and b) make one for yourself!

Master Plan – The Definiton

The broad but focused(!) line you want to follow to reach your goals. This is like a recipee for your personal fulfillment and happyness. It’s your road to success.

How to build a master plan for yourself:

I tend to do things in a quite structured way, maybe you have a different approach, for me this works quite fine:

Step one: Create a list of your personal, spiritual, physical, emotional and financial goals for the next year – i.e. for 2008.

Step two: Now assign priorities for each goal, start with number 1 for the most important goal, and increase the number as the priority decreases. You can assign the same number to no more than two items!

Step three: Now predict by what date you will have achieved the goal with the highest priority, then do the same for all your other goals.

OK, this is it, you now have your own Master Plan.

Question: How will you achieve your goals, now that you have written them down?

Answer: I suggest you read through this blog, it’s a good starting point, I’ve touched many subjects related to reaching your goals already. You also should – correct my self- MUST listen to a few audio books to understand how much energy you have and how you positively CAN reach any goal you set yourself.

Start off with The Secret by Rhonda Byrne (Rhonda Byrne) and then go on listening to Law of Attraction by Michael Losier .

Once you have listened to these two, I suggest you also download 50 self help classics a great audio book that brings you fifty more authors who all have very valid arguments for your success. By listening to these AND following their advice, you’ll be reaching your goals much faster than what you ever believed possible!

I’ll be doing a job interview questions series over the next few days. This being the end of the year, quite a few people are considering where they stand in their carreer, and if you’re one of them it’s worthwhile to also think about these sneeky questions you’ll come across from HR (human resources) people, trying to unearth your so called weak spots….

Here we go with the first question:

How long have you been looking for a job?

(The HR person wants to know if is there something wrong with you. Have other employers noticed a problem area and are you therefor on job search for a long time already?)

This could be your answer, especially if it’s been a while since you last held a firm employment:

Your tactic: Explain the long period with a type of sabattical, you took some time to assess your position and to make sure you know where your future will bring you. Sounds good, nobody can wrong you for that and it nicely explains, why it’s been some time since your last job.

“After I was laid off from my last job, I took the opportunity to take some time out to examine my career goals and where I was going with my life. I have just begun my search in the last few weeks. I have a definite goal in mind and have been very selective about the positions I consider. Your company and this position are of great interest to me.”

There are plenty more job interview questions that can come your way. I suggest you take some time to seriously prepare. Here are a few good audio books that you can listen to:

A Positive Mental Attitude is the key to your success.

Does this situation seem to be familiar:

You enter a room and see a few rather uninspired faces, people moving about with hanging shoulders and seemingly uninterested, even annoyed, are doing their daily chores and you can see that they would give nearly anything to be elsewhere…. ???

Having such a stance and mental attitude is making their day pure misery.

On the other side of the scale, you may have experienced an other scene as well:

When entering a room, smiling faces and friendly words greet you. People are bouncing about and seemingly hardly touch the floor when moving. Everything seems to be fun, feindly words and jockes float about. These people are happy! Happy to be where they are, happy to do what they do.

What is it that makes the big difference in these two images?

It’s their mental attitude. They are working daily to cultivate a positive mental attitude. And they now have made it nearly a habit, soemthing that starts to be natural. This poritive mental attitude is the foundation of success.

Because what you send out also comes back to you. If yousmile at people, are friendly and positive, it’s only natural for others to replicate. You start a vicious circle, but you make it turn the right way round:

The more you are radiating positive energy and hand out smiles, the more of the same is returned to you. That fuels your energies and you can give out even more, more comes back and so on.

Isn’t that great???

Read more about positive energy and how to cultivate the right attitude in ‘The Secret’ by Rhonda Byrne. It’s a great audio book that you can listen to on the go and that will not only educate you on the way of being positive, but this book will change the way you look at your life. Preparing for a job interview means getting ready to be grilled, getting ready to be your best and show your positive assets. Be also prepared for the interviewers to try and ferret out all the other stuff, things you don’t like to talk about, your weaknesses etc.

Here’s what a potential applicant for a job might be asked by the person screening applicants. If you prepare for these questions and are ready, you will outdo 80% of all other applicants:

  1. Looking back over your career – and your time at high school and college – what are the talents and skills that set you apart form others? What can you do better than almost everyone else?
  2. What made you decide to apply for this position? What is the attraction that this particular opportunity and our organization holds for you?
  3. Tell us which activities in your previous jobs have you enjoyed the most? Which tasks and activities have you had the most success with?
  4. Which activities on the other hand could be dealt with by others in your organization better than you could? Why was that so?
  5. If I were to ask your former bosses and your colleagues about you, what would they say are your greatest strengths and talents?
  6. In you last two jobs: What results have you delivered? What accomplishments are you most proud of?
  7. Now let’s assume we offer you this job amd you start working with us. What would need to be true about our organization, the team, and your job for you to be able to tell your friends half a year from now, “I’m glad I took this job. I made an excellent decision”?
  8. When you leave here, you’re likely to go over this interview once more and you’ll probaly wish that I had asked one question. What question will you wish I had asked?
  9. Do you have questions we have not covered yet?

In The Secret by Rhonda Byrne you’ll find a great set of information how to mentally prepare and to set yourself into a very positive mood. The inner strength you’ll gain from these techniques will help you feel better and thus also make a much better and composed impression on the interviewers.

You can use the Law of Attraction to your advantage, you can concentrate on your goals and create in this way a very strong force within yourself that will send out positive energy. Naturally you have to prepare for the interview also n the conventional way, do your home work and research into the company to prepare. Using a combination of the old fashioned prep work and the mental strength as described by Rhonda Ryner, you’ll succeed!

A few  other great audio books may also help you to prepare for the worst: audio books about job interviews . You can listen to sound samples online, just click on the link above.

The Secret by Rhonda Byrne is is a book that has changed and will change many people’s lifes. It’s got all that’s needed to make your life better.

“It’s controversial”

“It’s inspiring”

“It’s bullshit”

… these and many other opinions can be heared about this great book. What it certainly does, it is making people aware, that by acting and believing, by perservering and following a path ot a goal, anything is possible!

The Law of Attraction is ages old and generally accepted, you could say it’s as sure to exist as gravity exists: When you hold a stone in your hands and you let go, the stone falls to the ground. Same priciple applies for your thoughts: If you strongly believe in something, then it will happen. – Naturally, not only by believing….. you’ll also need to go for it. But whilst you are believing in something, actually doing what’s necessary to reach that something becomes a lot easier.

You can use a sort of self-hypnosis to become more disciplined and to work towards your expectations and goals, or you can auto-suggest yourself in a way that you feel healthier and happier. How this all works is described in great detail in Rhonda Bynre’s audio for immediate download:

The Secret by Rhonda Byrne (audio) explains hwo thsi can work for you and your goals in detail. Listen to the audio, then write down what your really want in life, then listen again! The second time round you’ll find hints and tips that will help you reach your goals for sure.

Rhonda Byrne’s book ‘The Secret’ is not ‘just a new age fad’ as some would like to believe. This book will change the lifes of people to the better or to the worse. All will depend how the individual person handles her own life and the challenges associated with it.

Has that happend to you already: You try to complete the most urgent and important activities, but somehow keep on pushing them back, until you have to rush and nearly don’t manage to do them anymore. You are often completing these tasks at the last moment.

Some people actually need this pressure to do things, or at least they think they need need it, because it’s a great excuse to let things drag until the last moment….

If you have read ‘The Secret’ by Rhonda Byrne or intend to read or listen to it, then you know that this is not the best way to manage your life and reaching your goals.

There is a much better way to handle urgent tasks, and even if you think you need this pressure, try it the other way at least once, you’ll see how much easier the task gets if you’re not letting time pass by and then have to rush:

Schedule a block of prime time to work on an important activity that is due in the future. Begin at least two weeks before the time you think you’d need to complete the task. By leaving some spare time, you’ll be able to polish and review the task at least once before it’s due.

Just remember: the 80 / 20 rule applies! By having now enough time to review what you’ve done, you can possibly improve on it. But once you’ve reached the 80%, the effort you’ll put into it will not yield the same productivity anymore. so don’t overdo it!

Having a project ready on Wednesday when it’s due for the next Monday is great and will make you feel a lot better too!

Here’s a great book that will help you getting thinds done with ease:

Step by step, Neil Fiore, Ph.D. reveals in his audiobook ‘The Now Habit’ numerous tested strategies for ridding your life of procrastination:

  • Use the symptoms of procrastination to trigger the cure
  • Overcome the perfectionism and fear of failure that lie behind procrastination
  • Benefit from making positive statements about work instead of sabotaging yourself with negative statements
  • Make your worry work for you
  • Use the Unschedule time-management techniques
  • Accomplish more in less time through efficient “flow state” work styles
  • Assist the procrastinators in your life in overcoming their problems

Maybe you have asked yourself what you can do to make this world a better place to live? Maybe you had even started to try to change the way others behave and live? Well, you’re up against a windmill…… Changing others is extremely difficult and and possibly frustrating. Why not start with yoruself?

“What I have learned is the only thing or person I can change…is ME. There is plenty of work to do right here and that requires a lot of energy and time and focus. I have learned that by changing me, by working every day to make myself a better person, I live a better life, and as my life becomes better….the world IS a better place. “

KathllenSue expresses exactly what personal development is all about.

This is also one of the central points that all of the people who have contributed to ‘The Secret’ say in one way or the other: Work on yourself and your environment will adapt.

Positive Thoughts and Focus does work: In The Magic of Thinking Big‘, David Schwartz says: Believe you can succeed and you will: Cure Yourself of the Fear of Failure; Build Confidence and Destroy Fear; Use Goals to Help You Grow; Think Like a Leader.

In ‘Think and Grow Rich‘, Napoleon Hill reported the results of many years of intensive interviews with the most successful people of that time. Many of them believed that their thoughts physically changed the exterior world by opening the door to possibilities that otherwise wouldn’t have existed. Napoleon Hill presented the idea as expressed opinions, rather than as a proven fact. He also pointed to many other things that these people had done that helped them succeed. He reported that it takes more than just focusing on what you want: There are other steps involved such as working with a mastermind group.

Thus, what is suggested in ‘The Secret’ is correct, but it’s not just thoughts, it’s focus, determination and action that will bring along the final success. This does not mean that the book is wrong. As I mentioned earlier, one needs to listen to it with an open mind and one must not forget to think and use common sense. The mental attitude needs to be there, positive thinking is a prerequisite to succeed. But it’s not just that.

Listen to this audiobook ‘The Secret‘ by Rhonda Byrne and make your own decision whether you want to use the law of attraction for yourself!

The Secret by Rhonda Byrne is making big waves. It’s like the proverbial stone that was thrown into the middle of the pond, and now the waves are multiplying and moving outwards in all directions.

The Law of Attraction is ages old and generally accepted, you could say it’s as sure to exist as gravity: If you have a stone in your hand and you let go, it falls to the ground. Same for your thoughts: If you strongly believe in something, then it will happen.

The Secret by Rhonda Byrne (audio) explains this in detail and I’ll go over these comments and thoughts in this blog. Obviously, not everbody will agree, but that’s OK.

This is not ‘just an other new age fad’ as some would like. This book will change the lifes of people to the better or to the worse. All will depend how the individual person handles her own life and challenges.
